Claudia bit her Lips and replied, “It was nothing. I just got a spam message. No worries. It's just trash.”

Kayla's word were indeed trash in her opinion.

It wasn't her message that bothered Claudia, though. Claudia couldn't help but think that Bennett might not really buy a motorboat, and even if he did, it certainly wasn't for Kayla. She couldn't understand why Kayla was acting so arrogantly.

Aurora was right. Kayla was trying to drive a wedge between Claudia and Bennett.

Bah, she won't fool me! Claudia thought resolutely.

Claudia put her thoughts aside and engaged in a serious conversation with Joann.

Late that evening, after Claudia had a shower, she sat at her dresser to prepare for bed. Then suddenly, her phone lit up, signaling an incoming message.

It was a message from Aurora.

“Cece, has your romantic rival reached out to you lately?" She also sent a meme of someone being curious.

Meanwhile, Bennett had left Claudia alone in the room as he retreated to the study to attend to urgent work-related matters.

Claudia picked up her phone and responded with three question marks. Aurora typed quickly with a reply, "I've heard some news, but I'm not sure if it's true, so...”

Claudia waited for her to continue, but after a few seconds of waiting with no reply, she sent her an emoji with a message. "Tell me already!" Aurora wrote. "I heard that Bennett bought a Yamaha AR195."

Claudia typed back. "Well, You are well-informed. Just Like Kayla!"

"So it's true?!

I didn't mean anything by it. I was just a Little curious, that's all.

But since he bought a motorboat, do you think he really has someone else special?" Aurora wrote.

After sending the message, Aurora realized it might hurt Claudia's feelings, so she quickly typed another one.

“Maybe it's actually for you."

Claudia responded, skeptical. "Well, do you even believe yourself?" The idea seemed ridiculous!

Why would Bennett buy her a motorboat?

Aurora replied quickly, "It's possible, isn't it?"

Claudia couldn't help but scoff, and she sent Aurora a screenshot of the message Kayla had sent her earlier today.

Aurora's reaction was one of astonishment.
