She knew she was being silly.

However, she found this kind of silliness exciting.

After lightly touching her lips to his for a few seconds, Claudia decided it was enough.

Before she could get up, however, something unexpected happened. The arm she was using to support herself suddenly gave out. She was too stunned to steady herself, and she Landed squarely on top of him, her front teeth clattering against his Lips.

There was no way Bennett would stay asleep after that.

As expected, the man opened his eyes, Looked at her, and blinked. "Cece?"

His brows wrinkled in mild perplexity.

Claudia's whole body froze. It took some effort, but she managed to push herself up and away from him. When her eyes met his ebony ones, her heart sank.

“Will you believe me if I say that I might be sleepwalking?”

Bennett, a little more awake now, brought his fingers to his numb Lips.

His lashes fluttered as his eyes darted to the bleeding wound on the corner of Claudia‘s mouth. He raised his hand to touch it.

“Did you also sleepkiss me?"

Claudia closed her eyes in mortification and cursed inwardly. He definitely knew what had happened.

How embarrassing!

She desperately prayed for a hole to open up and swallow her.

Of course, that did not happen, so she was still stuck in an incredibly compromising and suggestive position on top of Bennett.

When Bennett saw how red her ears were, he could not bring himself to tease her further. Smiling, he grabbed her by the waist, Lifted her up, and set her down in the space beside him. "Your Lips are bleeding. Does it hurt?"

Upon hearing that, Claudia unconsciously licked her lower lip.

She winced when she felt a sting.

When she Looked at Bennett, though, she shook her head.

“It doesn't hurt."

Bennett clicked his tongue in dismay.

“You winced. Why would you do that if it doesn't hurt?"

Claudia ducked her head in embarrassment.
