Claudia nodded and mumbled, "Yeah."

She put her hand down, and it landed on the man's clothed stomach Then, she froze when the current situation dawned on her.

Why was she clinging to Bennett's body Like a koala?

Why was her head resting on his chest?

The embarrassment immediately caused Claudia to flush to the tips of her ears. She rolled to her other side, stammering, "I-I actually don't move a lot in my sleep! I was just tired."

Bennett chuckled at the sight of her red cheeks and reached out to draw her back. "Mrs. Dreskin, are you planning to run off after you've used me?"

The word “used" instantly triggered some adult-oriented ideas in Claudia's mind.

Her face flushed more as she denied the accusation. "I'm not trying to run off!"

She glanced at him before adding.

“I'm just... thirsty. I want to get some water."

Upon hearing that, Bennett let her go, got out of bed, and fetched a bottle of water.

He removed its cap before handing it to Claudia.

“It's a little cold. Drink slowly."

Claudia nodded. She was not trying to trick Bennett; she was truly thirsty.

The water was indeed ice cold. After taking a sip from the bottle, she felt instantly revitalized, her grogginess gone.

As the cold water rushed down her throat and into her stomach, she felt refreshed from the inside and out.

She drank some more, holding the water in her mouth for a while before swallowing.

She finished half the bottle of water before she put it down and changed the topic. "What time is it? Has the men's competition started yet?"

Bennett regarded her with an amused smile.

“Your alarm hasn't gone off yet."

Claudia grabbed her phone to check the time. She had just turned it on when the alarm went off.

That answered her question. It was already two o'clock in the afternoon.

Claudia turned the alarm off and Looked at Bennett.

“Do you still want to go for a ride?"
