Chapter: 959
After taking a shower, Claudia messaged Bennett before turning the lights off and retiring for the night.

By the time she woke up the following morning, it was already eight o'clock, As she opened her eyes, the phone rang; it was Joann.

"Claudia, I'm at the restaurant right now. Is there something you want to eat? I'll buy it and bring it to you."

Her assistant really deserved a lot of credit for being so considerate. Claudia did not have anything specific in mind for breakfast, so she asked Joann to get her a cup of hot milk and some toast.

After breakfast, they took a cab and headed to the shopping mall together. Once she had bought the bags Aurora requested, she returned to the hotel to get some rest. She watched a couple of movies before she and Joann boarded the hotel shuttle at five o'clock in the afternoon and headed to the airport.

They boarded the plane at around seven o'clock in the evening, After sending a message to Bennett, Claudia put her phone into “flight mode." Claudia watched two movies on the plane before she took a nap.

She slept for over two hours. When she woke up, there were still five hours before the plane landed.

To pass the time, Claudia started reading the novel Aurora had sent her. Surprisingly, she found it to be a very entertaining read.

After more than three hours of reading, she was still not done with the novel. But she found herself feeling sleepy, so she decided to take another nap.

She woke up again to the sound of the announcement that the plane would land in twenty minutes.

Claudia rubbed her eyes to get rid of the sleepiness. Then, she grabbed her phone and resumed reading the novel from where she had left off.

Twenty minutes later, the plane touched down in Rarc.

It was already midnight in her home country, and very few people were present at the airport. From there, they took a cab to the hotel.

They were scheduled to take off for Linmarsh the following morning at ten o'clock. Claudia and Joann had breakfast at the hotel, and then they went straight to the airport.

"Claudia."

Claudia had barely settled in her seat when a familiar voice called her name.

She was somewhat surprised. For someone who barely traveled outside the country in the second half of the year, she sure ran across more familiar faces than she had expected this time.

She turned her head to look at the man next to her. He was sporting a pair of white casual pants, a plain white tee, a thin, light blue coat, a hat, and sunglasses.

Because of his youthful appearance, Claudia did not recognize him at first.

“Sir, do we know each other?"

The man made a clicking sound with his tongue and took his hat and sunglasses off, revealing a familiar face.

"I'd like to think so."

It was Mathews.

Claudia, flushing a little in embarrassment, uttered, "Oh, it's you."
