Chapter: 981
Aurora nodded, unsure of what else to say.
The atmosphere turned awkward.
Claudia was surprised to hear that Aurora had arrived so early. They had only just parked the car when she got the message from Aurora.
“Aurora's already there," she announced as she got out of the car, eyeing Bennett who was walking towards her.
“Breck's there, too," she added.
Bennett flashed a reassuring smile.
“Don't worry. Breck knows how to keep a conversation going. Aurora won't feel uncomfortable."
"Really?"
Claudia remembered her previous encounters with Breck and felt
Bennett was likely correct.
As Claudia and Bennett walked into the private room, it was clear that Aurora and Breck had already connected on Line.
Aurora, who had ample experience in dealing with clients, was quite adept at social interactions.
Keen on avoiding any misunderstandings, she got straight to the point, telling Breck she was here in search of a boyfriend but wasn't trying to romantically entangle herself with him. She simply wanted to expand her social circle first.
For Breck, meeting someone so forthright was a refreshing change.
Intrigued by Aurora, he introduced her to several promising young men right away.
Aurora was pleasantly surprised by Breck's gesture and assured him that should he need her assistance in the future, he could reach out to her through Line.
Just ten minutes ago, Aurora had confessed to Claudia how awkward it felt sitting with Breck. Yet now, she seemed to be getting along quite well with him.
Claudia realized she had seriously underestimated the pair.
Glancing at Bennett, Claudia murmured, "Did we get here too early?"
"We did," Bennett agreed.
Unusually for her, Aurora appeared slightly awkward. She beckoned
Claudia over.
“Cece, great to see you!”
Claudia took a seat beside her and said softly, "I feel like I didn't even need to come."
