Chapter: 982
"Don't be silly," Aurora rebutted before quickly changing the subject.
“Are these the bags you bought for me?"
Claudia remembered and handed her the bags, confirming, “Yes, they are."
“Thanks, babe. I'll transfer the money to you later."
Hearing Aurora use the term of endearment in front of Bennett,
Claudia felt a touch embarrassed.
Catching the moment, Breck chimed in with a playful comment.
“If you're calling her ‘babe,’ what's left for Bennett to call her at home?"
"I won't do it again, Mr. Dreskin." After saying that, Aurora glanced at Breck.
Claudia, feeling embarrassed, tried to change the subject.
"Do they serve crawfish here? I want to eat some crawfish."
Breck beamed upon hearing that and replied, "Yes, the crawfish here is very delicious. How much can you eat, Claudia?"
Claudia did not understand what he was actually asking, so she looked at Bennett and inquired, "Do you want to give it a try?"
Bennett opened his mouth to respond, but Breck beat him to it.
“Of course, he has to. He hasn't tried it yet. Since there are four of us, we can order four pounds of crawfish. I can eat two pounds of it."
He then turned to Aurora and asked, “Aurora, how much can you eat?"
She was hesitant to admit that she could consume a large amount of food because Bennett was there, but Breck's unabashed attitude egged her on to answer, "I think I can also eat two pounds."
"Then, let's order five pounds of crawfish."
Bennett did not even have the chance to say anything. After the discussion between Breck and Aurora, Breck called the waiter to order five pounds of crawfish.
"Are we just going to eat crawfish? Who wants some beer?"
Claudia shook her head, as she did not want to get drunk. Bennett refused as well because he would drive later.
“How about you, Aurora?" Breck asked, looking her way again.
"I'll have a can of beer," Aurora replied. She liked drinking, and in her opinion, crawfish was best eaten with alcohol.
However, she did not want to drink too much.
