Having eavesdropped on their plan earlier, Camila didn't insist and nodded in understanding.

Once he had departed, she entered.

She brought up the Johnston family in conversation with Isaac.

He was intrigued.

"Why the sudden interest in them?"

Camila informed, "On my way back from Forrest's place today, I noticed Stevie. His car was stationed outside a hotel, as if he was there to meet someone."

"I'll investigate." He approached and suggested, “Let's get dinner.”

In Skystead.

Jaylen consumed some wine at the dinner event and headed to the restroom. In the hallway, he clumsily collided with a man who clasped onto his arm, refusing to let go.

Angered, he attempted to shove the man off.

The altercation escalated into a brawl.

Outmatched, Jaylen was dealt a severe beating. Soon, he lay incapacitated on the floor. The man seemed well-versed in Taekwondo and boxing.

The man fled the scene.

Jaylen was rushed to the hospital. Upon regaining consciousness, he immediately dispatched his men to look into the incident. Their investigation, however, didn't go well.

After a week's investigation, his men were unable to identify his assailant.

After a few days, Jaylen had recovered somewhat.
