Chapter: 1732
"No," Isaac stated confidently. "He only wanted to upset me and didn't actually harm you."

The video was incomplete, leaving Isaac unsure of Jaylen's actions.

But he told Camila this with conviction, hoping to help her move on.

"Really?"

Camila's voice held a hopeful note.

"Yes," Isaac confirmed firmly.

Camila bowed her head, her shoulders quivering subtly.

She fought back tears, her nose tingling with the effort.

Deep down, since that incident, she had felt a profound humility in her relationship with Isaac, viewing herself as tainted.

But his reassuring words brought her a sense of relief.

Tears mixed with laughter escaped her as she uttered, "Thank you."

Camila wasn't sure if he was just trying to comfort her, but she felt relieved nonetheless.

She sniffed, her voice trembling a bit. "There's something in my eyes."

Isaac gently stroked her hair and comforted, “It's okay to cry. You don't have to hide your feelings around me."

Camila brushed away her tears and stubbornly replied, “I'm not crying.”

She lifted her head, feigning strength, wishing she could always be tough, proud, brave, and unbreakable.

Isaac observed her with a deep gaze. She really didn't want to show any weakness in front of him, did she?

Wrapping his arms around her, he suggested, “Let's head home."

Camila nodded and said, "Okay."

As they left the room, Isaac's arm was around her shoulder.
