Chapter: 1767
Camila's gaze fell as she finished reading, remaining silent for a long while.
Hyman, seeing that Camila read the letter for so long and seemed to be lost in thought, couldn't wait any longer.
"You called me here. What's going on?"
Jolted from her thoughts, Camila carefully folded the letter and placed it back in the envelope.
She looked up and inquired, “Do you know where the director lives?"
"What are you planning to do there?" Hyman asked, a hint of suspicion in his tone.
Camila met his gaze and responded, “What do you think I'm up to? I'm just going to pay him a visit. We have things to discuss. Don't give me that look."
Hyman frowned and said, “You know, I was beginning to like you, but you just came into power. Just acting all high and mighty from the start, it seems that everyone dislikes you, and they have a point."
Camila chose not to defend herself.
Her mood was already soured.
She wasn't in the frame of mind to appease anyone, including Hyman.
“Enough chit-chat. Just give me the address already!"
Hyman responded with reluctance, “Happy Lane, Blissful Haven, Building 3, Unit 2, Apartment 506."
Camila jotted down the address, patting some documents, and instructed, "Take all these documents, organize them, and arrange them neatly on my desk."
With that, she removed her uniform, slipped the inspection report into her bag, and headed towards the door. Pausing at the doorway, she glanced back at Hyman and said, “Ensure everything is in order today. I expect a tidy office when I return tomorrow."
Hyman scrunched his face and asked, “You mean to organize each item individually?"
"Yes."
"But there's so much. How can I get through it all so quickly?"
Camila arched an eyebrow, retorting, "Use the same effort you showed in challenging me before."
Hyman was left speechless.
