Chapter: 1777
It was time for the meeting.

No one got to the meeting on time but Camila didn't find it strange in the slightest. What would be strange was if everyone obeyed her and got to the meeting room without going against her.

Suddenly, the door of the office burst open and Hyman entered, panting and gasping for air. “It's done!" he announced. He finished it on time.

"You must be tired, then," Camila told him. "You should take a rest first. I'll let you know when you can send the things I made you buy to the meeting room."

Hyman acknowledged her command with a nod. “Alright. But, by the way..."

He turned around. He couldn't help but ask. "When will I be forgiven?

I genuinely no longer want to be your assistant. All you had me do were your personal errands! If it were work affairs, I wouldn't mind how hard or tiring they would be. I wouldn't complain if it were for work, but they weren't," Hyman admitted honestly.

"Don't worry." Camila put down the documents she had on her hand.

"You will be busy soon."

“When is this exactly?" Hyman asked.

Instead of answering, Camila looked at the clock on the wall. "The meeting is about to begin. You should get some rest for now."

"What do you mean 'meeting'?" Hyman asked sassily. “When I passed by the meeting room, it was empty. No one listened to you! What kind of meeting are you having with no attendees? Is it a meeting with yourself?"

Camila stared at him. "You talk a lot. Do you know that?" Camila didn't look pleased.

Hyman shrugged. “I'm just telling the truth. You're not welcome here "Enough!" Camila shouted at him impatiently.

"Fine! Good luck to you!" Hyman turned to leave. "Pray for yourself!"

He took one last glance at her before slamming the door shut.

That stressed Camila out, she had to press her temples to ease herself. No one respected her at all. She couldn't relieve herself.

Finally, she decided to proceed. She ironed her wrinkled clothes with her hands and went to the meeting room.

Like Hyman told her, it was empty.

She was the first one there and it was already half past three.
