Chapter: 1821
She exited the car once it arrived at its destination.
Turning to the bodyguard, she requested, “Please, stay here and wait for me."
Having him nearby made it difficult for her to concentrate.
Therefore, she preferred he wait in the car.
“Understood, the bodyguard answered."
As Camila was about to walk away, Harland rushed up to her, exclaiming, "Mila, I've been looking for you tirelessly. Look, it's almost noon."
Ignoring him, Camila instructed her bodyguard, “Keep him away from me."
"Understood."
The bodyguard moved to block Harland's approach.
Harland glared at him and demanded, “Who are you?"
"Just leave," the bodyguard replied, his tone commanding.
Feeling intimidated, Harland turned to Camila and inquired, “Who is this guy?"
Camila, however, chose not to engage in conversation.
Once more disregarding him, she walked up the steps into the building.
As she was leaving, Harland called out desperately, "Mila, I'm aware of what Jaylen did to you. I've already dealt with him severely. Can't you forgive him?"
Upon hearing such words, Camila turned around to face him, her gaze cold and piercing.
Every time someone brought it up, it felt like a fresh scrape across an old wound. Like a persistent fly buzzing around her head, refusing to be swatted away.
The request was beyond the pale! Completely out of line.
Forgive Jaylen?
She had sworn that she would never do so in her life!
