Chapter: 1893
If it weren't for her, Camila would've been the one hurt.
Nelson hadn't expected Isaac to agree so readily.
"Thanks." He nodded gratefully.
"Don't treat me like a strange."
Isaac was ready to treat Annis as his sister not only for saving Camila but also because she was raised by his mom.
Camila was right. More family would make their house feel more Like home.
Annis barged in. "Hey, Dad."
Nelson raised an eyebrow. "What's the rush downstairs?”
“How else would I catch your heart-to-hearts!"
She hugged him. "You're sticking around for a long while."
Nelson patted her back. "You're all grown up, why the waterworks? Aren't you afraid of teasing?"
Annis couldn't hold back the tears.
Nelson entrusted her to Isaac for her future.
She felt his kindness deeply.
That was why she was fighting back tears.
“There's no outsider here," she sniffed.
Glancing at Isaac, she said, "Camila's like family to me."
“Sure thing," Isaac murmured.
“How about joining us for dinner?" Nelson offered.
Isaac hadn't planned on sticking around too long; his return flight was already booked.
