Chapter: 1923
Forrest nodded and said, "Very."

Just then, the waiter arrived with their food.

Camila said, “I'm starving. Let's eat now."

She was the first to grab her fork and knife.

Forrest turned to Isaac with a smile and said, “Do you usually not let her eat anything? Why does she look like a starving wolf?"

Isaac looked at him and said, “Are you making fun of her eating habits?"

Forrest laughed. "Well, she does eat like she's been hungry for days. But if that's your thing, it's all good."

Camila really didn't know how to respond.

She was simply eating.

Why was she suddenly the center of their jokes?

How could she really relax and enjoy her meal under these circumstances?

Once she finished eating, she stood up. "You two take your time and eat carefully. Don't choke."

Forrest then asked, “Why have you become so short-tempered after spending time with Isaac? Weren't you much calmer before? Is temper contagious?"

Camila gave him a small smile and said, “Well, you know proximity breeds influence. So, don't provoke me in the future."

With that, she grabbed her purse and told Isaac, "I have work this afternoon, so I need to leave first."

Isaac got up. "I'll walk you out."

“No need. Eagle is outside, and you should get back to the office. It would be a detour for you, just a waste of time."

Isaac nodded and reminded her, “Try to come home early tonight."

“Okay. She waved her hand. After Camila left, Forrest's expression became more serious. "The real reason I asked you both here is that I have something important to discuss."

Isaac gave him a dismissive look as if to say, "I knew there was more."
