Chapter: 1975
Had she known Isaac would refuse to allow her hospital visit, she wouldn't have departed home.
"Just return me home; I'll remain with Joe."
"You don't have too many things to do at home, and you will feel bored. Finally, you'll make blind and disorderly conjectures unnecessarily."
Camila surrendered her efforts.
“Very well, take me wherever you wish; I'll accompany you."
Isaac arched an eyebrow. “Are you certain?"
Camila responded, “I can't outwit you; my bag of tricks is much smaller than yours."
"Seems Like you're bothered?"
"Not in the least." Camila truly wasn't.
She simply ceased resisting.
Isaac headed towards the outskirts.
Camila refrained from questioning his intentions.
Isaac seemed to be transporting her to a distant location, judging by the lengthy duration of the drive.
Exiting the car, a sprawling, expansive lawn stretched out before them.
“Is there such a place as this?"
She queried Isaac, her curiosity piqued.
“Step inside, and you will see." Isaac draped his arm around her shoulders.
The individual at the entrance recognized Isaac and promptly approached. “Mr. Johnston, it's been quite some time since your last visit here."
Camila arched an eyebrow, silently wondering whether Isaac was a regular here.
Otherwise, they wouldn't be so enthusiastic.
