Chapter: 1974
“What purpose does your visit serve? You can't alter anything now; your role is to wait."

Ignoring her counsel, Isaac remarked, “Your presence might disturb the patient's family, leading to conflict.”

Given the critical state of affairs, Camila's appearance seemed unnecessary.

There was no need for Camila to attend.

Isaac escorted her to his office, saying, "Maintain your composure."

Camila shot him a glance and scoffed, "You speak of hospital visits, but it's all deceit."

"If I hadn't deceived you, would you have entered my car?" Isaac chuckled in triumph. “Behave, and heed my words."

Camila lacked any authority at that moment.

She insisted on going to the hospital, yet Isaac refused to comply.

As the car was in motion, she couldn't simply leap out.

She had no alternative but to yield to his directives.

With a strained smile, she remarked, “You're quite shrewd!"

Camila had significantly underestimated Isaac.

“I should have anticipated this. How could you possibly escort me to the hospital?"

Unable to debate with him, she could only acquiesce, "I won't visit the hospital anymore, nor will I go to your office."

"Hmm?" Isaac glanced over.

"You're busy working. What should I do? I'm not capable of assisting, as I lack comprehension.”

She even guessed that she might be laughed at in his company ever since what had happened last time in the elevator.

“What would you prefer to do?" Isaac inquired.

Camila's thoughts raced but failed to identify a suitable destination.
