Chapter: 2007
"You're being unserious again," Camila chided, her tone serious.
"Stop fooling around; I'm not in the mood."
"Alright," Isaac relented, rolling off.
They took a moment to compose themselves, adjusting their attire.
"So," he inquired, “did you come to the office to see me?"
Camila nodded. "Yes, there was something I needed to discuss, but it's sorted now."
Isaac furrowed his brow. "What was it? And how was it resolved so quickly?"
Camila spoke candidly. "I was sued and needed a good lawyer, so I came to the office to ask for your help, but you weren't there. Alick introduced me to a lawyer from your company's legal department, who seemed very capable and assured me they could handle it."
She knew that even if she kept it a secret, Alick would inform Isaac anyway.
She didn't want to burden Issac unnecessarily, but when her problem couldn't be resolved, she had no choice but to seek assistance.
“Yes, you can trust the company's legal team," Isaac affirmed.
Camila nodded. “Alright, you handle Travis and the Johnston family's funeral arrangements, and I'll communicate with the lawyer about my issue."
Isaac agreed, "I'll brief the legal department."
News of Robin's passing spread, sending shockwaves through Heinz.
Despite the Johnston family's diminished stature, their influence still loomed large, and Isaac's ascendancy now surpassed even the family's peak.
Naturally, this garnered significant attention.
Isaac maintained a low profile, assigning Gunter to oversee the funeral proceedings publicly.
Only close friends, relatives of Robin, and those with ties to the Johnston family attended.
Isaac had forbidden his friends from attending.
Nevertheless, the ceremony was conducted with the utmost dignity, honoring Robin's significant legacy from his prime years.
