Chapter: 2016
Tyrese protested, his voice strained with frustration as he almost jumped up.
But his words rang hollow in the face of mounting evidence. "If you had taken him to the hospital, why would he come here?" Someone countered, their skepticism evident.
Tyrese ground his teeth in frustration, his anger boiling over. “He is a bad guy!" he growled, his voice dripping with disdain.
“Call the police for me, please. He's going to strangle me. I'm so scared," Willie pleaded, his voice trembling with fear.
Tyrese's visage contorted with rage, his features twisted into a grotesque mask of fury.
The bystanders, shaken by the unfolding drama, recoiled in fear, their instinct for self-preservation overriding any desire to intervene.
With hurried steps, they retreated from the scene, unwilling to risk becoming entangled in the escalating conflict.
But amidst the chaos, someone called the police secretly with the best of intentions, probably borne of a desire to prevent tragedy and safeguard property values. Maybe they thought if Willie lost his life here, their apartment complex and their house would get devalued.
In a final act of defiance, Tyrese seized Willie's leg and dragged him forcibly from the residential compound, his grip unyielding in the face of Willie's pleas. "No way to blackmail me!"
But justice swiftly intervened, the long arm of the law manifesting in the form of a police officer who swiftly handcuffed the aggressor.
The sight was harrowing!
Willie's body was covered in blood as he was unceremoniously dragged across the ground.
To the untrained eye, it would appear as though he had suffered grievous injury, his form limp and lifeless.
Besides, he was dragged on the ground!
Willie was immediately whisked away to the hospital, where he lay in a sterile ward, his body battered and bruised.
“Why is it you who come to visit me?" he demanded, his voice tinged with dissatisfaction.
"Who else do you want here?" Alick replied, his tone tinged with amusement.
"Of course, it's Isaac..."
Willie hesitated, a flicker of fear crossing his features as he dared not utter Isaac Johnston's full name.
"Why should I do such a hard job?" Willie questioned.
