After briefly recounting the whole story to them, Camila sighed helplessly. "Now he's dead, so the matter is very tricky now. I urgently need to ascertain the cause of his death to determine my next course of action."

Laura remained silent for a long moment, her thoughts shrouded in contemplation.

Slowly, she raised her eyes to meet Camila's gaze and said quietly, “Mila, you can't act so impulsively again."

Camila nodded solemnly in agreement. "I know."

"I'm here already. Let's go and take a look," Laura insisted, her determination unwavering despite any attempts to dissuade her. Before Camila and Morrison could interject, she preemptively reassured them, "Don't worry. I can handle it. Trust me."

Despite Laura's confident stance, Camila couldn't shake the gnawing worry that tugged at her heart. She didn't want her to do it.

Before Camila could voice her concerns again, Morrison intervened, his tone resigned. "Let it go. Once Laura sets her mind on something, nothing can sway her."

"You know her very well!" Camila smiled warmly.

As Morrison prepared to say more, the car came to a halt at the entrance of the hotel, interrupting their conversation.

Camila wasted no time in stepping out of the car first to help Laura exit.

"Don't be so careful. I'm fine," Laura insisted, her tone light but firm.

Morrison approached, offering his support. "Let me."

He gently guided Laura with a protective arm. “Be careful," he reminded her softly.

Laura returned his smile, her expression softened by the warmth of his concern.

Eagle helped with the luggage.

"Let's head inside!"

With Camila leading the way, they proceeded towards the front desk.

As the one who had made the reservation, Camila's only task now was to complete the check-in process.
