Chapter: 2069
Blinking drowsily, Camila murmured, "We have?"
"Yes," Eagle confirmed.
She rubbed her eyes and rolled down the window, the rush of fresh air instantly clearing her mind.
Stepping out of the car, she made her way into the building.
The receptionist greeted her respectfully. “Hello, madam."
Camila offered a grateful smile to the receptionist before stepping into the elevator.
However, the receptionist hurried over, catching Camila's attention.
"Madam," she began hesitantly.
Camila turned, questioning, “Yes?"
The receptionist gestured towards Camila's trousers, which were stained with blood.
Swiftly, she covered the spot with a folder.
Camila felt a rush of embarrassment as she realized her oversight.
"The bathroom is over there," the receptionist pointed out, offering assistance. "I have a clean dress. If you don't mind, I can give it to you."
“Thank you," Camila replied.
The receptionist handed her the dress, reassuring her, “Don't worry. It's brand new. I bought it recently and forgot to take it home."
Camila retreated to the bathroom with the dress in hand.
Time passed before she emerged; her complexion was noticeably pale.
Sensing her distress, the receptionist kindly offered her a cup of brown sugar water.
Camila stood absentmindedly, her mind elsewhere.
Concerned, the receptionist inquired, "Madam, are you feeling alright?"
