Chapter: 2070
"I'm alright," Camila reassured the receptionist, nodding slightly.

She accepted the brown sugar water and made her way to the elevator.

As she regained her composure, Camila returned to the front desk and placed the cup of water down. "Thank you for your kindness. By the way, how much did you pay for the dress? I'd like to transfer the money to you."

The receptionist waved off her offer. "There is no need to worry about it. It was inexpensive anyway. As long as it meets your standards," she replied.

Camila smiled warmly in response.

With that settled, she stepped into the elevator.

Upon Camila's knock, Isaac promptly opened the door of his office to find her holding a bag.

Curious, he inquired, "What's that you've got there?"

“Just some laundry," Camila responded as she entered.

Before Isaac could delve into why she brought laundry, Alick entered the office.

"Please, take a seat. Can I get you a drink?" Isaac offered.

Camila simply hummed in response, reclining on the sofa, seemingly oblivious to his offer.

Isaac, noting Camila's sour mood, decided against probing further. He turned to Alick with a task in mind. “You mentioned we were close. Have you located him?"

Alick affirmed, "He's an employee under a VP at Sun Pharmaceutical Group. This person then asked someone to buy off that nurse."

Armed with this pivotal information, the next course of action became clear to Isaac-secure cooperation from Tyrese.

The daunting belief now occupying Tyrese's mind was that Kameron's demise was the result of Camila's surgery and the subsequent artificial heart implantation.

The possibility that it might have been poison, not surgery, that led to his father's end would be a difficult truth to reconcile.

Witnesses were in place, yet they still needed to talk about it with Tyrese. They had to make him accept the truth and let go of prejudice against Camila.

“Have you secured the details on Tyrese that you unearthed previously?”

Isaac questioned, a sense of urgency in his voice.
