Chapter: 2091
The doorbell chimed.
Morrison headed to the door to see who was there.
It was too early for the cleaning service.
He approached and opened the door. It was the breakfast delivery.
Morrison asked the delivery staff to bring the breakfast inside.
After washing up and brushing her teeth, Laura came out. As soon as she saw the breakfast, her expression darkened instantly.
Glaring at the waiter, she snapped, "No need for breakfast. Take it away!"
Morrison glanced her way, taking note.
She wasn't one to lose her cool often.
What happened?
But he didn't jump into questioning right away.
Instead, he told the waiter, “We're not feeling the breakfast vibe here. Can you remove it, please?"
The waiter, clearly flustered, explained, "This isn't from the hotel. It's from a guest."
Morrison immediately got why Laura was ticked off.
Clearly, the breakfast came from the guy they bumped into at the hotel.
“Leave it there. You can go," he instructed.
Laura looked between them, puzzled. "You know who sent it? And you want to keep it?”
"I do," Morrison said.
Laura's confusion only deepened. "Then why.."
Morrison didn't rush to explain.
