"Yes." Camila nodded.

"Why? We were getting along so well!"

The others agreed in chorus, saying, “Yes.”

Camila took a deep breath, pondering how to respond.

She said, “Well, once a woman gets married, she should at least consider her family..."

But before she could finish, someone interjected, "Doesn't your husband allow you to work?"

ALL eyes turned towards the speaker.

“Why are you all looking at me? Did I say something wrong?" the person asked, bewildered.

The others shook their heads, reassuring, "No, you asked a good question. That's exactly what we were wondering."

Camila grew serious. "Let's focus on our work. Please refrain from bringing up my family."

“But why did you resign? We all know how much you enjoy this job,"

Hyman inquired.

“Why does it feel like you're blaming me?" Camila coughed.

"No, we're not blaming you. We want to understand why you're leaving when we've just gotten comfortable with each other..."

"What do you mean by getting comfortable? It's not like we're in a relationship. Let's just have dinner," Camila suggested, waving her hand.

“If you don't explain it clearly, we won't have much appetite," Hyman said.

Of all the people present, Hyman was the one most reluctant to see her leave.

Because he had spent the most time with her.

And they were the closest.

Camila let out a sigh. "You guys... I just want to spend more time with my child. That's all."
