Jovanni Carbonell was a dependable guy.

He'd been working in the research institute longer than Camila did.

At the institute, she'd noticed his reliability.

Jovanni was responsible and careful.

“But...”

“Just talk to Mr. Carbonell."

She went to her office to start packing her things.

Hyman let out a sigh.

He had no other option but to speak to Jovanni.

But Jovanni didn't want the job either.

He hadn't performed the operation, so it wouldn't make sense for him to do it.

Hyman had to go back to Camila and said, "Mr. Carbonell refused it."

Camila was at a loss for words.

"I'll catch up with Mr. Carbonell later."

Camila set down the stuff she was carrying.

"That's not going to work. Mr. Carbonell's not up for it. He didn't do the surgery. How's he supposed to answer if the reporters ask something in detail?"

“I can write him a cheat sheet," Camila replied confidently.

“If you don't believe me, you can talk to him yourself!"

Camila trusted Hyman but she felt uncomfortable about being in the public eye before officially resigning.

It didn't feel right to her. The spotlight should be on the folks at the research institute.
