Chapter: 2344
Forrest remained motionless, absorbed in his work.
“If I leave, how can you accurately email the directions? You seem to have difficulty even locating the restroom without my assistance."
Now that Isaac was blind, Forrest displayed remarkable nerve!
Isaac found himself unable to offer a rebuttal.
His only recourse was an angry shout, “Leave!”
Unfazed, Forrest replied, “You have no power over me, even if I stay."
Isaac scowled and queried, “Don't you have anything better to do?"
"I have numerous tasks on my agenda. By the way, I'm famished.”
After pausing for a while, he suggested, "Once I've sent the email, we can dine together. Brent ought to have the meal ready. I'm starving!"
Isaac scoffed, "Are you still thinking about food?"
"I'm feeling utterly useless, unable to accomplish anything. So I'm placing my trust in you," Forrest admitted.
“In that case, keep quiet and stay out of my way. Don't bother me."
Isaac rose from his seat.
Forrest moved to assist him, adding jokingly, "I'm your eyes now, and I'll stick by your side. I know it's irritating that I stay by your side, but I can't let you stay alone. I don't have a choice."
Due to his blindness, there were many things Isaac couldn't do now.
If he were fine, he'd kick Forrest out!
Forrest felt unrestrained because Isaac couldn't see.
He wouldn't dare to act this way under normal circumstances.
He understood that Isaac couldn't retaliate, so he felt emboldened to shoot back.
As they exited the study, they encountered Willie's return.
