Chapter: 2397
Camila turned to him, searching for an explanation. Forrest remained mute, confused by the sudden hostility directed at him.
"I'm full. You all can continue without me," he muttered, not wanting to escalate the situation further.
Camila attempted to detain him. "Aren't you going to eat?"
“I'm not hungy," Forrest declared, his frustration evident.
Was he really going to skip meals over this? If so, he was acting more like a child than the actual children around him. The real reason why he had no appetite was that he couldn't go and see his own daughter.
Just then, the room's tension was broken by someone barging in.
Forrest knew the man. He was sent here by Willie after making outside arrangements.
Forrest frowned and asked, “What happened? Why are you in such a hurry?"
The man shook his head. He was not panicking — only anxious.
“Someone is looking for you."
“\iho?" Forrest asked.
“I don't know," the man answered.
Forrest was dumbfounded.
There had been no point in asking, then.
“Fine. Let's go and have a look." He walked out.
The man followed him out.
At the door, Forrest saw the person who was looking for him.
To be exact, it was a boy.
He looked to be around 5.5 feet tall, his scrawny body covered with mud, as if he hadn't taken a shower in a long. Even his hair was matted into sticky clumps.
In this state, Forrest could barely make out the boy's features.
