Forrest couldn't believe his ears when he heard this. He pointed a finger at Alick and fumed, "Your words constitute more of a personal attack than mine!"

Alick shrugged and replied with a smile, "I simply did as you would have done."

Forrest shook his head and said through gritted teeth, “You and I have nothing in common!"

With that, he stood up and headed toward the exit.

To him, there was no sensible reason for him to stay.

However, before he could walk out, Alick stopped him, saying, “Wait a minute."

“For what?! Why should I wait?" Forrest asked as he stared at Alick with narrowed eyes.

Alick tilted his head slightly and said, "Address Annis as Mrs. Bates now. You do know who's the older one between both of us, right?"

Hearing this, Forrest opened his mouth slightly in surprise.

He had just been kidding with Annis!

After pursing his lips for a moment, he smiled and replied vaguely, "You're older, you're older..."

Alick cursed inwardly and clenched his fists.

He wanted nothing more at that moment than to rain blows on Forrest's head.

He wanted to knock out all the teeth on that bastard's mouth.

“Well, do what I just told you to do," Alick said coldly without taking his eyes off him.

Though Forrest was indeed not as old as Alick, he couldn't bring himself to address Annis as Mrs. Bates!

How could he address someone young in such a way?

Looking at Alick, Forrest chuckled and asked with an evil smile, "Why don't you come in so that I'd be able to address her?"

Instantly, Alick pointed a finger at him and fumed, “Damn you! I'1L stop at nothing to kill you if you dare trouble her when I'm away!"

Forrest rolled his eyes and said, “Calm down. You are so protective of her to the point that you can't even tell that I'm just kidding. Stop being so serious."
