The hour passed quickly. Her phone rang.

She picked up the call at once.

"Why didn't you answer when I called?" she asked.

Willie glanced at Isaac, who was in the room with him, and lied. "Mr. Johnson was seeing a doctor. It wouldn't be right to answer a call."
