“I miss you. Don't stay out late," Camila softly said.

"Okay," Isaac answered.

Not wanting to delay his treatment any further, Camila hung up the phone.

Isaac handed the phone back to Willie. “Let's go," he said.

Willie nodded, and they made their way for the car parked outside.

Willie helped Isaac into the car.

They were soon on their way to the hospital.

They'd already made an appointment and were going to be on time.

When they arrived, the doctor first thoroughly examined Isaac's eyes.

His retinas had been injured, and that led to his blindness.

The doctor gave him several treatment plans, all of which would last for about a month.

Isaac went through the admission procedure in the hospital.

He then took the medicine given to him by the doctor and laid down to rest.

His journey over the past few days had tired him out.

Willie stood guard outside.

The hospital was quiet at night.

Three people in white coats approached Isaac's room.

Willie stood up from the bench he sat on upon seeing them. “Who are you?" he asked.

“We are doctors and have come to examine the patient."

They did dress like doctors, so Willie didn't doubt their claim.
