Chapter: 2463
However, someone from behind suddenly showed up and grabbed his hand before it could land on Willie's face.

The other man was also subdued by another person.

Behind Darnley, a man stood with a gun pointed at his head.

Listening to the clatter in the room, Isaac remained stoic.

After sensing Darnley had been subdued, he said, "You were too easy to read, Darnley. Did you really think I would let you hurt me a second time?"

Isaac deliberately instructed his men to hide in plain sight to provide an illusion that his security wasn't tight so Darnley would be compelled to attack.

"Don't think this is the end, Isaac. I'll do whatever it takes to make you pay for what you did to me! If I have any regrets, it is not killing you when I had the perfect chance!" Darnley snarled with livid eyes.

Arching his brow, Isaac retorted coldly, “Unfortunately, you won't ever have that chance. If one day I paid for what I've done, you wouldn't be there to witness it, so you might as well stop daydreaming now."

"You!" Darnley stood up, wanting to pounce on Isaac.

But the man behind him pressed the gun against his temples and warned, “Move, and you'll die."

With gritted teeth, Darley sat back down and grumbled, “You may be powerful, but I know you can't kill me, Isaac."

Darnley seemed confident.
