Chapter: 2462
"Come in," Willie said, holding the door open for them.
However, as soon as they entered the room, one of the men pressed a knife against Willie's neck. "Don't move, or I'll cut your throat!"
Pretending to be scared, Willie put his hands up and stepped back.
“Please don't hurt me."
Darnley took off his mask and scoffed, "Useless coward."
Leaving Willie by the door, he walked to the bed and looked down his nose at Isaac. “Your men are all useless."
Isaac's jaw clenched at Darnley's taunting, but he said nothing.
He opened his eyes, though his vision remained absent.
Still, he tried to visualize the situation, including the ferocious and complacent expression Darnley must have been wearing in front of him.
“Well, I must say, you're one lucky bastard. You even survived the plane crash." Darnley pulled up a chair at the foot of the bed and sat down, casting a disdainful look at Isaac on the bed. "Today, however, let's see how you'll escape your death with your impaired vision and good-for-nothing assistant over here."
Isaac sneered. "You think you can take me down because I'm blind?"
“Still want to act tough, huh?" Darnley smacked his lips and snarled at him, “You took away everything from me, Isaac. You destroyed me! So, if I die, I will take you to hell with me! Do you understand?"
Isaac pressed his lips together.
The situation was going in the way he had expected it.
Driven by revenge, Darnley carelessly seized an opportunity to attack.
Seeing an opening, he grabbed the chance and showed up unguarded, not knowing it was a trap set by Isaac.
"Business is a battlefield, Mr. Barnett. You failed because you lacked the skills to withstand the duel. You shouldn't blame your defeat on others," Willie interjected sharply.
Darnley turned to him with cold and narrowed eyes. “Are you really this dumb? What makes you think you can interrupt and reprimand me? At this moment, your life is in my hands, you idiot."
Gesturing to his men, Darnley ordered, "Grab him! Show him the consequences of interrupting someone higher than him! Arrogant bastard!"
“Yes, sir," one of the two men said, stepping forward to slap Willie.
