The waiter brought the food to the table.

Gazing at the dishes, she found her appetite waning.

She was very hungry before.

She hadn't eaten breakfast either.

"Okay," Isaac responded.

"Don't you have something to tell me?" Camila inquired.

Isaac affirmed, "Yes."

“What is it that you want to tell me?" Camila pressed further.

A very low voice came through the phone, "I miss you."

A smile appeared on Camila's face. Those were the words she had longed to hear.

She looked out of the window again, Laura and Forrest were separated, and Forrest was walking towards the hotel with the child in his arms.

“I love you, Isaac," she said into the phone. Her heart ached with longing. She didn't want to miss him anymore or be apart from him.

She wanted to be with him forever.

Unlike Laura and Forrest, who couldn't be together, she was hell bent on making her relationship with Isaac work.

She rested her chin on her palm and asked playfully, “Why don't you say anything?"

Isaac's reply was indifferent. "I have nothing to say."

Camila was taken aback. Her smile faded. "I get it," she said softly.

“Okay", Isaac responded.

Her disappointment turned to irritation. How could he just say ‘okay'?

He hadn't even said he loved her. What was wrong with him?
