Chapter: 2504
“I'm eating. Bye," she snapped, and hung up.

Isaac heard the busy tone on the other end and smiled faintly. For him, love was best expressed face to face.

Camila's appetite had vanished. She took a few bites of her food and went back to her room.

No sooner had she lain down than there was a knock on the door. It was Forrest.

"Have you booked the air tickets? If not, I can do it," he said.

"Yes, I have," Camila replied.

Forrest nodded.

"Has Laura come to see her child?"

Forrest turned around and asked, "Did you see her?"

“Yes, I saw you two when I was eating," Camila said.

Before Forrest could reply, she continued, “The connection between a baby and its mother is strong. Laura must be extremely reluctant and heartbroken when making this decision. She is a pitiful woman."

Forrest knew this well. He looked at Camila and said, "I remember when you were pregnant. You didn't know whose baby it was, yet you still decided to give birth. It shows how brave mothers can be."

Camila was speechless, discomfort seeping in. She hadn't been mature back then. Her immaturity was not just reflected in giving birth to the baby.

In fact, there were some other things that she had done impulsively as well.

“Yeah, well. I'm going to bed," she said, waving her hand dismissively.

Forrest looked at her, puzzled. “You sleep during the day? Didn't you sleep well last night? Or..." He studied her expression. "You don't seem too happy. What's got you in such a bad mood?"

"Isaac," Camila admitted.

Forrest was taken aback. “How dare he make you angry? If he's really upset you, you should go tell him the fuck off."

His words sparked an idea.

Maybe she should go see Isaac, after all.
