It was still too early to think about it.

"We'll see. For now, Isaac needs to rest. Let's mot ruin the patient's mood, shall we?" Camila proposed with a smile.

"It made him upset?" Forrest asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Camila shook her head.

Forrest might have not done it on purpose, but the topic surely annoyed Isaac.

Just why would Forrest talk about marrying the kids off when they were still too young to even eat by themselves?

"What do you think?" Camila asked.

Forrest thought she had a point and acknowledged he might have gone overboard, but he still couldn't help his smile.

“Well, I'm just happy that I have a daughter!" he exclaimed.

Sighing, Camila asked about Laura. "Did she call you?"

Forrest's smile slowly diminished as he shook his head.

Camila couldn't help but feel a little worried at his response.

She felt Laura had been acting weird lately. No matter how busy she was, as a mother, she should ask about her daughter from time to time, shouldn't she?

"You should call her when you have time. I'm sure she misses the kid,"

Camila suggested.

Forrest fell silent.

Although something happened to Morrison, and he was temporarily out of the picture, he was still Laura's husband. Forrest thought that it was inappropriate to contact Laura for she was, technically, still married.

Given the situation and his unresolved feelings for her, it was better that he kept a distance.

"Well, they can have another child when Morrison comes back," Forrest said.

Camila knew it was a sensitive topic, so she didn't pry further.
