Chapter: 2528
With money, it seemed, came the luxury of having others attend to every detail.
Meanwhile, Joe overheard Isaac and Camila discussing going out.
Excitedly, he dashed to Camila and exclaimed, "Mom, Grandma said you and Dad are going to Alick's wedding with my brother and me! Is it true?"
Camila smiled warmly, enveloping Joe in a hug. “Yes, it is," she confirmed.
Joe nestled happily against her, his joy palpable.
Rubbing his head affectionately, Camila asked, “Are you excited?"
“Of course I am! Especially to be with my parents. I need to pack my clothes!" Joe exclaimed, bouncing with enthusiasm before darting off to his room.
Observing her son's happiness, Camila couldn't help but smile.
"You're absolutely right," she agreed.
Isaac wrapped an arm around her shoulders, suggesting, "We should make sure to spend more time with our children from now on."
Camila nodded. Her original decision to leave her job driven by a desire to prioritize her family and children. And, of course, for Isaac.
Just as she turned to glance at him, someone suddenly burst into the room.
The servant's interruption was untimely.
Camila stood, her brow furrowing in concern. "What's the matter?"
The servant hesitated before admitting, "There's someone at the door."
Perplexed, Camila echoed, “Someone at the door?"
"Let's go and see." She motioned to accompany the servant to investigate, but Isaac intervened.
“I'll handle it," he asserted, prompting Camila to reconsider.
After a moment's thought, she concurred, realizing it was better to let Isaac check.
Isaac rose and exited the room, with Forrest trailing behind. He voiced his concerns, “Is everything alright?"
