Chapter: 2575
Isaac turned to look at her and said, "We can go back whenever you want to."
With his hand in her hand, Camila looked down at their intertwined fingers. "I thought Laura and Morrison would have a happy ending, but..."
She couldn't find the rest of the words to finish her sentence and sighed. “No one can really tell how things are going to be."
She rested her chin on Isaac's shoulder and looked at him. "Let's go back to Clouland as soon as possible."
“Okay," Isaac agreed.
A smile curved on Camila's lips, and she wrapped her arms around his waist. "You're so good to me."
She cherished this moment, where she was surrounded by the people who mattered to her. She was filled with endless gratefulness for every one of them, especially Isaac.
Such times of peace were rare to come by in her life.
"Aren't you two being too much? Just sitting there and flirting without doing anything?" Forrest complained. He had a plate of roasted meat and two bottles of beer in his hands.
Sitting down, he put them on the grass.
“It's not often we have free time like this," he said.
Camila glanced at him and quickly tried to adjust her mood.
She decided not to tell him about Laura yet. Besides, she would have nothing to tell when she didn't know the details herself.
Camila picked up a meat skewer and said, "I wish there was mutton."
People here seldom ate mutton, so the meat they had was mostly beef.
But it was not just ordinary beef. They had the best-quality marbled beef. The meat was tender, with alternating chunks of lean meat and fat.
It was as expensive as it tasted.
"You're so picky. Don't you know this is so much more expensive than mutton?" Forrest said.
He took a skewer of charcoal-roasted mushroom and said, "This is pinenut mushroom air freighted from overseas. You won't have a lot of chances to eat this here."
Camila didn't particularly care about any of that.
