There was not much left for them to do here. Alick and Annis, who had just got married, could afford to stay a bit longer.

Isaac shared this thought with Alick.

But Alick replied, "We'll go back with you."

He rushed into marriage just to get back to work.

Though his leg had not fully healed, it was nearly there.

He had no responsibilities here.

Moreover, he and Annis had already decided to go back home right after the wedding.

Sooner or later, they would go back.

"I'll take care of the arrangements," Alick said.

He was used to handling such matters.

Isaac patted him on the shoulder and said, "No, let me do it."

Alick needed some time and space since he had recently got married.

Alick responded, "I'm feeling better now..."

“Willie's already saying his complaints. You've got a lot of work to do once we're back," Isaac said with a rare smile.

Alick was well aware of the workload at the company. Without him, Willie was undoubtedly much busier.

Thankfully, his recovery was nearly complete.

“It's time I reduced his load. I feel sorry for Willie. He works tirelessly and isn't even married yet." A sigh escaped Alick, unable to hold it back.

Isaac's brow furrowed slightly. “Are you saying I have put too much pressure on him?"

Just as Alick was about to clarify, Isaac continued, "I'll give him some time off after we return. You'll take over for a while."

Alick was at a loss for words.
