Joe liked her a lot. When he saw her, he handed her a large skewer of roasted meat. "Here you go, Annis."

Annis immediately took it and had a bite.

Soon, Camila and the others came over.

Camila handed Annis the raspberries and said, “Have some. They taste good."

Annis picked up a raspberry and put it in her mouth before she could swallow the meat.

It was an odd combination, but somehow the flavors of the meat and the berries worked well.

Annis smiled. "It's delicious."

Making a show of being disgusted, Camila asked, "Did you even taste it?"

Annis just smiled at her.

“I can't believe you guys were having so much fun here without me."

Camila glanced at Alick who was not far away. "How come you two are so free today? Shouldn't you be doing other things?"

She said the same thing Isaac did.

Annis said, "The fun that two people can have can never beat what a group can. The more the merrier."

She picked Joe up and sent the man who was tending to the barbecue away. "I want to do it."

It would be more fun to grill the food herself.

Seeing the lively expression on Annis' face softened Camila's gaze.

Since that incident, Annis had become quieter and more reserved.

Now, seeing her regain her old cheerfulness brought a sense of relief to Camila.

Isaac was talking with Alick.

They might have been talking about returning home.
