Chapter: 3898
This little girl was no one other than Jeslyn.
"Wow. Mr. Waston is here?" Axell asked in pleasant surprise when he saw her.
But Jeslyn ignored him and instead turned to Jessie. "My father's name, Albert, means brilliant mind," she reasoned. “It seems there's some association between his name and the name of your studio. Does my father know this? Did you ask his permission for this?"
Axell was shocked to hear her speak in such a bossy manner.
Even Jessie, whom she was addressing, was also stunned. The truth was that she had found the name to be very straightforward and catchy, so she named her studio with it. It had nothing to do with Albert at all. Frankly, she just didn't know how to answer Jeslyn's question.
Putting her hands on her hips, Jeslyn went on arrogantly, "I want to sign up for your class. If you accept me, then I will allow you to use this name."
Jessie was someone with a fiery temper.
This girl's demand immediately got her angry. “Well, come force me then! You know what, I'm not afraid of you or your father!"
Jeslyn looked at her with her big eyes filled with tears, but she did not cry.
She remembered that her father always used to say that only cowards cried.
Instead of crying, she would simply change Jessie's mind.
Meanwhile, worried that the confrontation would lead to a quarrel, Melissa picked Jeslyn up and gently caressed her hair. "People have the right to choose names for their property. It's not appropriate for you to be so impolite," she told the young girl as kindly as she could.
Jeslyn felt depressed. With her head hanging low, it was clear that she had become disheartened.
“But she is different," she murmured in her defense.
Melissa couldn't help but break into a smile. "Well, your name also bears some resemblance to hers," she reminded the little girl.
"Shouldn't you seek permission from her as well?"
This made Jeslyn very anxious. "No!" she exclaimed. "My father gave me my name. He said this name means a lot to him. He's the only one that can take it away!"
She'd hardly finished the statement when the elevator doors opened and Albert walked out of the elevator.
He had overheard part of what they were discussing.
Suddenly, a strange tension filled the air.
