Chapter: 3899
As soon as the words left Jeslyn's lips, Melissa and the others, including the driver, understood the situation. They all knew very well why Albert chose for his daughter a name that sounded so much alike Jessie's.
However, Axell remained oblivious to the implications.
He was simply thrilled to meet Albert in person again!
Meanwhile, he observed Jessie gazing intently at Albert without blinking.
Albert glanced at Jessie, and then turned to Axell with a gracious smile, apologizing, "Sorry about that, Dr. Calderon."
Albert bent down and lifted Jeslyn into his arms.
Gently patting her on the backside, he inquired in a soft tone, “What did you just say, sweetheart?"
Nestling against Albert's shoulder, Jeslyn pointed to herself and reiterated, "You picked my mame yourself because I'm Daddy's sweetheart.
Planting a tender kiss on her forehead, Albert nodded approvingly.
“That's right! You're my little sweetheart."
Then he addressed Jessie, "I brought Jeslyn here to enroll her in a language course. I heard you were recruiting. Do you have any suitable classes for her?"
Jessie was on the verge of declining.
Cradling Jeslyn, Albert strolled to the front desk, grabbed a brochure, and perused it. After a moment, he remarked, “It appears that you guys pay house calls and children can have lessons at home.
That's wonderful! Considering my daughter's discomfort with being around unfamiliar people, it'd be preferable for her to have private lessons at home. Could we schedule two-hour sessions on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays? I'm willing to pay triple the standard fee for this arrangement. Would that be acceptable?
In the presence of others, Jessie found it challenging to decline him directly.
Consequently, she restrained herself and replied casually, “I'm afraid this isn't how we do this."
Before Albert could interject, Axell chimed in hastily, “I don't see any issue with that. Jessie, Mr. Waston has faith in you. Don't disappoint him."
Concerned that Jessie might decline, he assured Albert, “Don't worry, Mr. Waston. We'll take excellent care of your daughter."
With a faint smile, Albert remarked casually, "It looks like you can already make decisions for Jessie, Dr. Calderon."
Teased, Axell felt a tinge of embarrassment, his cheeks flushing.
