Despite having concerns of her own, Olivia didn't let them show in front of the child.

Offering a gentle smile, she comforted Leyla tenderly.

Observing their interaction, the nanny proposed, "Mrs. Wright, it's dinner time. Shall I bring some food for you?"

However, Olivia preferred not to have dinner at the hospital.

After giving Leyla some warm water to drink, she gently declined, “No, thank you. I'd rather have dinner at home. Besides, I'm not hungry at the moment."

"Understood," replied the nanny.

Nonetheless, feeling a twinge of sympathy for Olivia, the nanny ventured to the vending machine and procured a bag of biscuits.

Retrieving Leyla from Olivia, she then explained, “Leyla had a snack earlier, so she might not be hungry yet. This afternoon, Mr. Evans visited and brought some fresh strawberries specifically for Leyla. She adores them, so she had half a dozen."

Olivia tore open the package with a smile, saying, “My brother really cares for Leyla."

The housekeeper was about to speak further when she saw the entire biscuit package slip from Olivia's grasp and crash to the floor.

It was the strawberry flavor.

As Olivia dropped it, some of the biscuits were broken in half, while others were completely crushed.

Olivia stood, disregarding the fallen biscuits, her gaze fixed on a figure in the distance. Dylan's recent refusal to accompany her home lingered in her thoughts.

Yet now, he cradled a young woman in his arms.

The woman appeared youthful, likely in her early twenties.

Assessing her slender frame and waist-length dark hair, Olivia inferred that the woman was quite attractive.

“Mrs. Wright! Mrs. Wright!"

Olivia snapped out of her thoughts only when the nanny addressed her.

Avoiding eye contact, she apologized softly, “Sorry, I was a bit absent-minded just then!"

She proceeded to clean up the fallen biscuits, but her vision blurred.

Olivia dabbed her eyes gently, though the blurriness persisted.

And just like that, she lost consciousness.

"Mrs. Wright! Mrs. Wright!"

The nanny, in a panic, called the nurse. Coincidentally, the nurse was administering an injection to Dylan's female companion. When Dylan looked up, he saw Leyla and Olivia, with Olivia having fainted and collapsed on the floor.
