Chapter: 4597
After calmly handing over the documents, Olivia gathered her personal belongings, preparing to leave.

"Hold on a moment, Olivia!"

Dylan interrupted abruptly. "I need to talk to you."

Olivia was taken aback by his suddenness. With her chin raised, she stood frozen in place. This was her way of withholding tears, avoiding pleading for Dylan's mercy, or subjecting herself to his harsh words.

With a bitter smile, Olivia spoke up. "What else is there to discuss? Are you suggesting that if I remain single for the next two years, then we might consider getting back together? Dylan, even if you're okay with the idea of me going back to Raphael, I can't bear the idea of you living with someone who isn't me! You used to promise you wouldn't do anything to upset me, but now you're going back on your word. I don't have anything more to say to you."

With those words, Olivia discreetly wiped the corners of her eyes.

Olivia was still a human being, not an emotionless robot.

Ultimately, Olivia left without glancing back at him.

Yet Dylan caught up with her and pulled her into the elevator. This elevator was exclusive to the president of the company, so there was no one else present except the two of them.

Dylan held her tightly, preventing Olivia from moving, his body was nearly pressed against hers.

Consequently, she felt somewhat embarrassed.

"Why didn't you take the rocking horse with you? I imagine Leyla must be very fond of it," Dylan remarked.

Meanwhile, Olivia was lost in thought.

After a moment, she spoke softly. "I've filed the paperwork to change her name. Soon, she'll have her new name, Leyla Evans."

She looked up at him and asked, "Do you know why I gave her your last name even after your accident, Dylan?"

“Of course, I know!" Dylan groaned.

“Then why do you treat me like this, huh?" Olivia questioned indignantly.

Without uttering a word, Dylan simply gazed at Olivia silently.

In that moment, they were incredibly close to each other.

Dylan couldn't help but yearn for Olivia to still be his.

He leaned in, attempting to kiss her.

But Olivia turned her face away and then spoke hoarsely. "No, Dylan, we're divorced! We're no longer a couple. Even though you two aren't married yet, you should be loyal to your girlfriend."

Hearing Olivia's words, Dylan remained silent, offering no explanation.

The elevator descended slowly.
