Chapter: 4718
So, she was unable to make a call.

The strong scent of blood filled the car, leaving Olivia feeling desperate.

Blood continued to flow freely. She glanced down and saw her dress marred by blood stains... Dazed, Olivia feared for her unborn child but knew she had to save her driver.

Trapped in the driver's seat, Ryder couldn't move, so Olivia realized she needed to get out of the vehicle alone to find help.

Supporting herself with her hands, Olivia unfastened her seat belt.

The pain in his thigh was so intense that Ryder nearly passed out.

However, hearing Olivia's movements, he mustered his strength to plead, “Miss Evans... you should stay in the car! It's too risky for you to go outside right now."

Tears rolled down his cheeks from the intense pain and the fear that Olivia might endanger her pregnancy.

Otherwise, Olivia wouldn't have considered such a drastic action.

The Evans family had always been good at weighing pros and cons.

It seemed to be in their nature.

Grimacing from the sharp pain in her abdomen, Olivia whispered softly, "There's no hope if we just sit here and wait! The wind is too strong; no one can leave the villa right now. If we wait any longer, you might bleed to death, Ryder..."

Touched by her words, Ryder's eyes welled up with tears, and he pounded his thigh in frustration.

At that moment, Olivia managed to open the rear door.

Immediately, the fierce wind and pouring rain assaulted her... This was clearly a risky move, but Olivia felt it was a necessary gamble.

She was ready to risk it all if it meant saving at least one life tonight.

Everything around her was chaotic, and she couldn't see anything... not even which way to go!

Her dress was completely soaked, but she couldn't worry about her attire or even her baby at that moment. Survival was her immediate concern...

Suddenly, headlights illuminated her direction.

A car pulled up across the road.

Then, a slim figure emerged from the vehicle and sprinted straight towards her... Olivia's vision was clouded by the rain, making it hard to see who it was, but her instinct told her... that it was Dylan.

Her body trembled uncontrollably. Olivia tried to call out to him, but no words came. Eventually, she could only point towards the driver's seat and give Dylan a pleading look...

She needed him to rescue Ryder!

Normally, Dylan would leave after watching Olivia's car turn into the Evans family's private lane, but tonight's storm was so fierce.
