After picking up Leyla, Dylan drove back to Evans Gardon.

Leyla had missed Olivia and she hugged her tightly, showing her backpack's contents one by one.

She even told her each piece's story.

It appeared that they were all her treasures!

Olivia found a wooden castle inside which had been handmade by Raphael. Leyla proudly announced, “Daddy made it for me," snuggling closer to Olivia.

“And I adore it! It's going on my bedside table with a princess inside," Leyla declared with a grin.

Olivia chuckled. "You're a little princess already!"

Leyla giggled happily. Then, turning to Dylan, she said, "Can you make me more castles with different shapes?"

Dylan felt a twinge of envy hearing Leyla praise Raphael's gifts.

Now she wanted him to craft castles for her... Nonchalantly, he replied, “You remember me now, huh?"

Though young, Leyla knew how to charm others with her cuteness.

When the car halted at the red light, she leaned over, gave Dylan a big hug and planted a kiss on him. She exclaimed, "Daddy, please!"

Dylan was touched and said, “I thought you only cared about Raphael now!"

To his surprise, Leyla replied, "Don't worry. You're the one in mommy's heart!"

Stunned, Dylan turned to Olivia and asked, "Who taught her that?"

Olivia had never said anything like that around Leyla, so she snapped back, "I think she got that from you."

Hearing this, Dylan burst into laughter.

Feeling joyful, he deliberately stopped at a restaurant and suggested treating Leyla to some fried chicken.

Leyla's face lit up at the mention of the treat.

But Olivia objected, saying sternly, "You can't spoil her Like this, Dylan! Junk food isn't good for kids."

Dylan, holding Leyla, argued, "It's been ages since we last had fried chicken. Having it once in a while won't hurt! If she gains any weight, I'll hit the gym with her."

Then, he teased, “Besides, she's much slimmer than you. You were quite chubby as a kid!"

Upon hearing that, Olivia felt embarrassed and fell silent.

Darn it! She had forgotten that Dylan had seen her old photos.
