Chapter: 4844
The restaurant was bustling with families during the holiday.

Dylan chose a table by the window and handed Leyla the menu, urging her to order on her own.

Even though Leyla couldn't read much words, she studied the pictures intently.

Seeing Leyla's delighted expression, Olivia couldn't resist gently patting her head.

Suddenly, Dylan interjected. "Olivia, I realize we don't eat out together much, even though you've let me visit. Leyla might feel left out seeing other kids enjoying meals out with their parents!"

Olivia's eyes welled up at his words.

Feeling remorseful, Dylan continued softly, "It's on me! From now on, we'll take Leyla out more often, and Eason can come along too!"

Since they had decided to live together, they were determined to be good parents.

They were committed to giving the kids the best.

Olivia couldn't object to this suggestion.

As a mother, she would do anything for Leyla and Eason. But those memories... they lingered, making it hard for her to drop her guard around Dylan like before.

Dylan was not oblivious to this, of course.

That was why he decided to woo her as if they'd just met, hoping Olivia would feel cherished once more.

He wanted her to see his love and learn to trust him again.

Most importantly, he wanted Olivia to know he'd go to great lengths for her.

Leyla, eavesdropping on their chat, giggled.

Meanwhile, she ordered a chicken combo for herself.

For Dylan, she ordered a bottle of wine, steak, and a hefty salad.

And for Olivia, she arranged the pork chops combo.

Dylan praised Leyla for her good choices.

But Olivia, wearing a solemn expression, remarked, “Who's driving if you've had wine?"

Handing her the keys, Dylan replied, "You. Leyla and I will be in the back. I haven't seen my sweetheart in ages, I miss her loads!"

Olivia remained silent at this.

Glancing at her, Dylan whispered softly, "Other men have their wives pick them up when they're drunk. I want that too."
