Chapter: 4881
Of course, he had a crush on Elva for a while, but she was older and had rejected him multiple times. Elva had flirted with him occasionally just to mess up. After becoming involved with Luis, she had remained faithful, avoiding other men.

However, tonight was an exception.

She playfully pinched the young man's cheek and smiled. “Let's have some proper fun tonight then."

Luis completely lost his appetite.

He stared at Elva and scolded, "Can't you show a little dignity and self-respect? How long have you known him, and you're already planning to spend the night together? Are you going back to your place or checking into a hotel room? Can he even cover the cost of a room?"

Elva's face turned cold. She took a napkin to wipe the grease from her delicate fingers and retorted with a sneer, "Who I sleep with and where... What does that have to do with you? Luis, we're not together anymore. Why should I tell you who I'm sleeping with? Are you even listening to yourself?"

Upon hearing this, Luis's face turned livid. “It has nothing to do with me?"

Before Elva could respond, Holley, looking like she was on the verge of tears, interjected, “Luis, whose boyfriend are you-hers or mine?"

The atmosphere was subtle.

At that, he released Elva's hand. How could he have forgotten? He had ended things with Elva; he was with Holley now.

Nobody said anything for a while.

Luis quickly calmed down, though just moments before he had been quite upset, mostly because he still cared for Elva!

They had only recently parted ways, so naturally, it would take him some time to adjust. He believed that he would slowly become accustomed to his new life.

Now, he had to learn to live without Elva and possibly start seeing someone else. Even more crucial was accepting that Elva was no Longer his girlfriend.

With that realization, Luis relaxed his grip.

He came back to his senses and quietly apologized to Elva, “Sorry, I shouldn't interfere with your private matters!"

Due to the unsettling conversation with Luis and Holley, Elva suddenly lost her appetite. She got up and left with the young man.

After their departure, Holley ordered some meat and said casually to Luis, “Actually, I think they are a good match. Miss Fowler looks after herself well, so the age difference between her and the young man isn't obvious!"

Seated at the narrow table, Luis was in a bad mood. Holley's comment only deepened his irritation. Disinterested in the barbecue, he pulled out a cigarette pack from his pocket and lit one.

At that moment, he noticed Elva getting into the car with the young man.
