Chapter: 4913
Everything felt peaceful and lovely.

But he missed it. They had both been with other people. For him, the relationship brought only weariness, while she appeared to be enjoying her new boyfriend.

Even if Luis chased her new boyfriend away, there would likely be another one in the future because she clearly stated she didn't want him anymore.

Elva was stirred awake by an itch.

Upon opening her eyes, she discovered that her entire body was itching. Peeking under the blanket...

OMG!

Red spots covered her skin. It was dreadful, and scratching only intensified the itch.

She called out to the still-sleeping Luis. Even though she was angry, her voice carried a sweet, melodic tone. “Luis, did you put bugs in the bed?"

Luis remained undisturbed, still deep in sleep.

With drooping eyelids, he reached out to her. After being gently pushed away by Elva, he lazily glanced at her and remarked, "I would have only placed other items in the blanket. Would you like to give them a try?"

Even in this moment, he persisted with his suggestive humor.

Elva kicked him away, requesting a bath and ointment. It dawned on Luis that she was experiencing an allergic reaction, though he showed no signs. "Your skin is indeed sensitive," he remarked.

Elva disregarded him.

She rose from the bed and headed to the bathroom without bothering to ask him to heat the water.

Seizing her hand, Luis retracted, "I was teasing you. Allow me to warm the water for you."

Seemingly plagued by guilt, he not only heated the water for her bath but also soak the blankets in water to cleanse it properly.

Elva inquired about their plans for the night.

Luis retrieved a long-sleeved shirt and pants from his luggage and handed them to her.

Looking at her intensely, he uttered, "Wear these tonight. Can't believe you didn't bring any proper PJs."

He couldn't shake the thought: if he hadn't been here, would she have shared a bed with someone else, perhaps even engaging in intimate acts?
