The conversation shifted topics until Ariana, after a pause, revealed, “Theodore is still alive."

Mitchel's hand froze on his cup, his expression flickering before he regained composure and looked at Ariana.

"Holden is Theodore," Ariana said calmly. "Yes, his mother is the only daughter of Aldus. After the accident five years ago, the Fredrick family took him in, but the accident caused him to lose his memory. He's been living as Holden since then."

Realizing Ariana had already learned the truth, Mitchel was silent for a moment before asking, “So, what do you plan to do? As you said, his identity has changed. He is Holden now."

"I don't know," Ariana admitted, pursing her lips and letting out a sigh.

Her internal conflict weighed heavily on her, leaving her uncertain of what to do at all.

She said, “I know he's changed from how he used to be, but I can't just let go of him completely. In the meantime, I'm not naive. I am aware that time can alter certain things, like identities, positions, and the people around him."

Facing Mitchel, Ariana had always been able to wear her heart on her sleeve and open up to him. She told Mitchel everything she had been thinking about recently.

Most of the time, Mitchel remained silent, listening attentively, his emotions complex and swirling beneath the surface.

After all the twists and turns, Ariana and Theodore had met again.

It was like destiny.

Thinking about this, Mitchel felt an indescribable sense of loss. He understood that Ariana's heart had always held a place for Holden, and now, knowing that Holden was Theodore, it would be even more difficult for her to let go.

Although he should be feeling heartbroken, Mitchel acknowledged an unexpected sense of disappointment weighing on him. More than anything, he felt genuinely happy for Ariana.

Having never experienced dating before, Mitchel wasn't even sure if what he was feeling in this situation was considered normal.

After Ariana shared her thoughts, Mitchel simply looked at her and offered a reassuring smile. “Whatever decision you make, I will always support you. Just follow your heart."

Ariana returned Mitchel's smile and said sincerely, "Even though I've said it many times before, I still want to express my gratitude. Thank you."

Mitchel nodded and didn't say anything further.

In the afternoon, Rodney had some matters to attend to, so he left with Mitchel accompanying him.

Soon after, Shawn arrived at the villa.

"Miss Edwards, I'm here to pick up Adele and take her to the hospital for a routine health check-up," Shawn said.
