Chapter: 1619
Feeling self-conscious, Calvin hung his head, a look of disappointment crossing his face. He opened his mouth to respond but stayed silent in the end.

He had spent a lot of time considering this cosmetic surgery and knew he had to face the aftermath.

Noticing Calvin's discomfort, the nurse quickly took his hand and offered some encouragement. “Don't worry. We'll give you a chance to start over."

Even though he offered reassurance, the nurse couldn't help but be curious.

Given the president's reputation for being hard to please, why had he let these two slide? What was their relationship with the president?

But the nurse didn't dwell on these thoughts for Long. Without asking further, he led Calvin and Ariana straight to the third floor, stopping in front of the president's office.

The door to the president's office was slightly open. The nurse knocked twice without getting an answer. Then, with two more courteous taps, he gently pushed the door open and motioned for Ariana and Calvin to enter.

Ariana had been expecting to see the old doctor in a white coat, the kind that screamed experience and distinction, especially since they were in a hospital.

To her surprise, when they entered, they found a table buried under heaps of papers and reports, and the room was cluttered with all sorts of tools and medical supplies. They found themselves standing by the door, unable to find a path through the mess.

Moreover, among the mess, they couldn't even see anyone in here.

Glancing at her watch, Ariana inquired, “Is the president not here?"

The male nurse offered a reassuring smile and replied, “He's here."

With that, he raised his voice and called out, "Mr. Felton! You have a visitor. Where are you?"

Ariana thought his voice was so booming that it echoed in the entire floor. Just then, an old man appeared from behind a mountain of books, looking quite annoyed, and retorted, "Why are you shouting? I can hear just fine!"

The male nurse greeted the old man with a warm smile. "President, your patient has arrived. I've escorted him here for you."

The old man grunted, casting a glance at Ariana and Calvin, and motioned them inside. "Come in."

Once they entered, they closed the door behind them. The old man wanted to give an initial diagnosis and sketch out a plan. However, the table was overwhelmed with papers and documents scattered everywhere. He rummaged through them, commenting, "I've been trying to sort these documents recently. It's quite a mess."

He looked for a diagnosis notebook but couldn't locate a new one. So he picked up a piece of paper from a nearby pile and started jotting down Calvin's information on its blank side.

After spending some time understanding the case, he instructed Ariana to go downstairs to enter the data and files, while Calvin was to remain to work on the plan.

Ariana nodded in agreement and made her way downstairs. As she walked, she read the paper containing Calvin's information. Despite the old man's peculiar demeanor, she recognized his deep professional expertise. She appreciated the meticulous details he had recorded.
