Chapter: 1620
She thought that another doctor might not have been as comprehensive.
She hoped deeply that the old man could indeed offer Calvin a fresh start.
Turning the paper over, Ariana furrowed her brows.
There was information about Sadie on the back of the paper.
But there wasn't much-just Sadie's name, age, and the date of her appointment.
What caught Ariana's attention was the date of the visit.
It was five years ago.
A chill ran through Ariana.
That was odd. Was Sadie's plastic surgery really five years ago?
Ariana pondered this, recalling how Sadie seemed aware of the fact that Holden was actually Theodore. Sadie's apparent anxiety about Ariana being close to Holden had always struck her as odd. Before, Ariana's suspicions had no foundation, but the timing of Sadie's plastic surgery added weight to her doubts.
Although there were no photos in the file, a review of the records sparked a feeling of recognition in Ariana. She knew this was Sadie's file.
Deciding to put her suspicions on hold, Ariana focused on the task at hand. After that, she returned to the third floor.
Upon her return, she found the old man marking Calvin's face, outlining the areas needing enhancement.
Ariana stood by, watching. Once the elder finished his planning and recorded it, he let Calvin wash off the markings from his face. A nurse then took Calvin to the second floor for a thorough check-up, ensuring there were no risks for the upcoming surgery.
With Calvin and the nurse gone, Ariana and the elder were the only ones left in the room.
The elder, treating Ariana more like an acquaintance than a stranger, started organizing the papers himself. He directly instructed her, "Bring those documents over here."
With a sigh, Ariana complied, assisting in tidying the office.
After clearing most of the clutter, she hesitated before pulling out the paper she had filled in earlier. She asked, "I saw information about Sadie Pierre on the back of this paper. Did the well-known actress also have minor plastic surgery done at your clinic?"
The old man raised his gaze from the pile of papers before him and caught sight of the name on the paper. He let out a dismissive scoff, muttering, "Minor surgery? It was far from minor. It was as if she had been transformed into a completely different person. It was a total transformation, indeed!"
A total transformation?
