Chapter: 1633
"You believe me now, right?" Aziel let out a breath of relief and wrapped his arms around Sarah tightly.
Sarah gently pushed him away and whispered, “Take it easy. I'm carrying a baby now."
“Okay... Wait, what?" Aziel paused for a moment. Then, his eyes widened in realization. "You mean..."
He stared at Sarah, disbelief coloring his features.
Sarah's cheeks turned pink, and she placed his hand on her belly.
"Yeah, I'm saying... I'm pregnant."
"Really? That's amazing!" Aziel's excitement made his cheeks flush.
He wanted to pick her up in his arms, but the thought of possibly hurting Sarah made him hesitate, leaving him standing awkwardly in place.
Grabbing Sarah's hand with a burst of joy, he pulled out a ring and knelt. “I can't hold back any longer. Sarah, will you marry me?"
Sarah's cheeks turned a soft pink as she nodded.
Meanwhile, Sonia watched everything unfold with keen interest. Just as she was about to invite Ariana to sit beside her, she realized Ariana was gone. She glanced around, puzzled.
Where was she?
Ariana was caught up in her concerns about Holden and Sadie, deciding to follow them to uncover the truth.
Stealthily approaching the villa, Ariana noticed the lights were on.
But the door was closed, and she couldn't go in. She scanned the surroundings, a wave of unease washing over her.
She wondered what Holden and Sadie could possibly be up to inside.
Throughout the day, Holden had been so close to her, yet it seemed he had sought the company of another as night fell.
The thought crossed her mind, bitter and skeptical. Men were just not trustworthy. Despite Holden's assurances of having no ties with Sadie, here he was, taking Sadie to a secluded villa. Was he cheating on her?
Anger simmered within Ariana, yet a part of her refused to accept Holden could be so deceitful.
She lingered outside, hope dwindling as neither Holden nor Sadie came out of the villa. Impatience and anxiety gnawed at her.
